Daybreak: Pitch Practice
We’re inviting a handful of people to do a short practice pitch on anything they do or offer—a business, side project, idea, or even how they introduce themselves.
It can be uncomfortable to get out of your comfort zone—especially when it comes to talking about what you do. Most of the time, there are stakes attached: selling yourself, impressing someone, getting it “right.”
This event removes all of that.
For our March Daybreak, we’re creating a low-pressure space to practice sharing what you do with a supportive, caring audience. No big outcomes. No expectations. Just an opportunity to say it out loud, get more comfortable, and build confidence through practice.
Want to Practice Pitching?
If you’d like to be considered as a pitch participant, fill out the interest form and we’ll follow up shortly. We’re only taking a small number of pitchers for this event—but if it’s valuable to the community, we’ll absolutely do it again.
Not pitching? You’re still very welcome! This is a great way to meet new people in OKC, support others as they practice, and be part of a thoughtful, encouraging space.
We can’t wait to see you there ☀️
What’s Daybreak?
Daybreak is a monthly morning meetup for working professionals in OKC — a space to meet new people, share what you do, and start your day with good coffee and good conversation.
You’ll see familiar faces, but you’ll also meet someone new. That’s kind of the point.
We started Daybreak because we noticed a gap in OKC — there wasn’t really a place for people across industries to connect in a real, low-pressure way.
With more people freelancing, working remote, or running their own thing, we wanted something that felt easy to show up for — low barrier, no pressure, and not at all stuffy.
